Announcement: Nicole Richie was arrested by the California Highway Patrol. On December 11, 2006 at 1:45 am, Nicole was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence by the California Highway Patrol.

Nicole Richie was transported and booked at the Glendale Police Department and released.
