When to call 911
When Life is threatened.
If there is a threat to property.
When someone is hurt.
When you see a burglary or a robbery.
If you see suspicious looking strangers talking to youth or children in your neighborhood.
If you see fire or smoke coming from a building, or an un-controled brush fire.
When you hear screams of distress, or cries for help.
When you hear loud explosions, or the discharge of firearms.
Do Not call 911 for:
Nuisance complaints.
Loud animals.
Abandoned vehicles.
Directions.
General information.
To speak with a police officer or a fireman.
