Leinberger Center is primarily a working facility designed to house sentenced inmates who work at various city, county, and state agencies to reduce their jail time.

Leinberger Center has the resources and can house overflow inmates from the Monroe Detention Center. These potential inmates are carefully screened and must meet strict policy and procedure criteria when transferred to the Leinberger Detention Center. The safety of the public is paramount when considering inmates.

LEINBERGER DETENTION CENTER VISITING HOURS

Visiting at Leinberger Center is by pre-scheduled appointment only.  Visitors will need to call (530) 668-5245 to schedule a visit. 

Once a visiting appointment is scheduled, there will be NO changes, re-scheduling, or modifications permitted.

Visiting Sessions

All Inmates and Visitors Must Abide By The Following Rules

Visitors shall be dressed appropriately when they visit.  Attire which is similar in appearance to inmate attire or excessively revealing shall not be permitted.  If there is a question on whether clothing is appropriate or not the final decision shall be made by the on duty Sergeant/Officer in Charge.  Examples of inappropriate clothing include tube or tank tops, sleeveless garments, bike shorts (spandex), swim suits, skimpy, short or cutoff shorts, skirts or dresses.  No clothing with obscene, offensive or gang writing or designs.  Also no hats or sunglasses will be permitted.

Two (2) visiting sessions per week.  Two (2) visitors per inmate per session.  A visitor is defined as a person of any age.  Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian and must be immediate family of the inmate (child, grandchild, brother, sister).

Visitors must arrive 30 minutes prior to their scheduled visiting time to check in.

Visiting check in will begin 30 minutes prior to the current session and end 10 minutes prior to the start of that session.  If you arrive late, your visiting session will be cancelled.

All visitors must present a valid government issued picture ID (driver's license, ID card, passport, military ID or consulate card) to register.

All visitors must successfully pass the metal detector in order to visit.

Visitors are only allowed to bring valid photo identification and one key that will unlock the door to their vehicle.  All other property must be secured in the visitor's vehicle.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

Visitors are subject to search while on the premises.  Any visitor found with contraband is subject to arrest.

There are no restrooms in this facility.  Visitors are encouraged to use the restroom at the Monroe Detention Center prior to their visit.  Visitors who leave the visiting room may not re-enter.  Once the visitor leaves the visit is considered terminated.

Visitors will enter the visiting room as a group, however, the visitors may lave the visiting room at any time.

Visitors may greet inmates with a handshake only.  NO FURTHER CONTACT IS ALLOWED!!  If there is any  other contact, the visit will be terminated.  All visitors and inmates must keep their feet on the floor and hands above the table at all times.

Inmates may not take anything from the housing unit into the visiting area, nor are they allowed to take anything from the visiting area back to the housing unit.

All visitors and inmates must follow the directions of the Officers during the visit at all times.
