TATUM O'NEAL GETS ARRESTED NEAR HER APARTMENT IN NEW YORK CITY!

Actress Tatum O'Neal was arrested on Sunday night within blocks of her lower Manhattan Apartment.
The 44 year-old actress was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. O'Neal spent her night behind bars and released Monday on her O.R.
According to Detective Joseph Petrelli; Sometime, yesterday afternoon a special narcotics team was conducting a drug sweep of lower Manhattan.
It was just after 7:30pm when undercover officers witnessed a woman approach 33-yr-old Alan Garcia. Garcia is reported to be a homeless person.
Officers noticed a deal going down and made their bust. When they searched the Oscar winning actress, they discovered two yellow plastic bags, which were stuffed inside O'Neal's front right pocket. They were determined to be Street Drugs!
According to a field analysis, the substances turned out to be two different grades of cocaine. Coke regular, and the harder-core version, Crack cocaine. Yesterday's stake-out was conducted on Clinton Street, located between East Broadway and Grand, and only blocks from O'Neal's home.

The alleged charges are based upon the undercover detective's "Professional training as a police officer, his prior experience in drug arrests". "And a field test which confirmed in fact what it is alleged to be."
O'Neal was only 10 when she appeared in the Acadamy Awards and won her Oscar for "Paper Moon" She has three grown children with tennis legend John McEnroe.
Tatum was released on her own recognizance, and ordered to return on July 28 when she will enter her plea.
